Claims
Allstate Canada is in the business of customer service, and the Claims department is where our customers need us the most. We keep customers at the centre of all we do, while demonstrating our strength, experience and care. So whether a customer has been in a car accident, or they’ve had a fire in their home, Claims steps in to help pick up the pieces and get customers back to where they were before the incident occurred. They guide and assist the customer through the claims process to ensure they receive a timely and fair settlement, while managing costs.
It’s extremely important for both agents and Claims professionals to educate the customer on their coverage. It’s not until a customer has a claim that they experience the value of the policy they purchased, and it’s our opportunity and obligation to provide them peace of mind by showing them that they are in Good Hands®.

Risk Management
Our Risk Management function develops products to meet consumer needs and sets pricing. We need to understand the risk we’re taking on with each of our customers before we add them to our book of business. The team has to work within the provincial regulations to ensure our pricing and product strategy is appropriate for the marketplace.
They are also accountable for creating guidelines for each product and for developing the criteria to effectively match customer needs and risk to the right products.
