Over 35 Years of Partnership

In 2022, Allstate Canada and Mothers Against Drunk Driving (MADD Canada) celebrated 35 years of an exclusive partnership in the effort to stop impaired driving. Allstate has been the lead sponsor on all MADD Canada programs at various times over those years, and has also been a supporting partner in the publication of numerous statistical, research and liability reports. Currently, Allstate Canada is the National Sponsor of the School Assembly Program, Title Sponsor of Project Red Ribbon and Official Sponsor of Campaign 911.

Project Red Ribbon

Project Red Ribbon is MADD Canada's largest, most effective and visible campaign. It reminds us all of the preventable tragedies that accompany the act of impaired driving and what can be done to stop it. We encourage everyone to demonstrate their commitment to safe and sober driving today by tying a MADD Canada red ribbon to your vehicle or keychain.

Each year, over 50,000 Allstate customers receive MADD Canada Red Ribbons directly in the mail and Allstate agencies across Canada proudly display Red Ribbons, donation boxes and posters.

School Assembly Program

Delivered through Canadian schools to students in grades 7-12 since 1994, MADD Canada's School Multi-Media Assembly Program presents students with solid information and best practices to help them understand the issue of impaired driving from alcohol and drugs. Impactful productions like "Wasted" and "Shattered" unflinchingly address the issue of impaired driving in ways that relate directly to young people. This hi-tech, multi-media program has proved to be an effective method to raise awareness and for providing safety strategies. Annually, this program is delivered to over 1 million students and a new production is created each year.

Allstate Canada is dedicated to raising awareness of the dangers and consequences that impaired driving presents to our communities. Our affiliation with MADD Canada initiatives has allowed more people across Canada to become aware of this problem while also being given the tools to effectively contribute to solving it.
