Allstate Canada and NHLPA Partnership Comes to an End

TORONTO - August, 30, 2013 - In 2010 Allstate Insurance Company of Canada and the NHLPA signed a three-year agreement that resulted in the creation of the Allstate All-Canadians Mentorship Program. On August 31, this agreement will come to its end. Allstate Canada is proud to have worked with the NHLPA in creating this program that helps Canadian youth develop into better people both on and off the ice.

Through the Allstate All-Canadians mentorship program, Allstate Canada was able to reach thousands of Canadian youth through the Mentorship Cup game and hockey camp, the creation of the All-Canadians materials for parents and youth and the activation of several community events that allowed Allstate agents to have a direct and positive impact on the children in the neighbourhoods where they live and work.

"This program gave us the opportunity to reach Canadians through the sport of hockey in a way that aligned with Allstate's core values of community involvement," says John O'Donnell President and CEO of Allstate Insurance Company of Canada. "We relished the chance to help mentor Canadian youth in their communities and are a better company for having had the opportunity to be involved in such a unique program."

Allstate Canada would like to thank the NHLPA for three exciting years of partnership. "We wish the NHLPA all the best in their future endeavours and continued success," says O'Donnell.
