Commission disclosure

Our auto and property insurance products are distributed through our Good Hands Network, which includes our licensed agents, our company website (www.allstate.ca) and 1.800.allstate. All are employees and/or sales distribution options of the Allstate Insurance Company of Canada and exclusively represent Allstate for auto and property insurance products.

Our Customer Contact Centre employees receive an annual salary and are eligible for a performance-based bonus. Our agents, who are employees, receive compensation of between 10% to 28%, averaging approximately 15%, of premiums under the policy, which is paid using a commission structure. In addition, they are eligible to earn a performance-based bonus.

Other than standard employee benefits available to all employees in accordance with Allstate’s policies, the Allstate Insurance Company of Canada has no other financial links with the company’s intermediaries, such as outstanding loans or credit facilities.
