Why do I need to re-register?
On November 20th, 2013 Allstate launched a new myAllstate self-service portal to better service our customers. To ensure your personal information is private and secure we must ask all current myAllstate account holders to re-register to validate your identity. We require that customers validate their own policy information with a policy number and web ID to comply with the federal Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA).
To make life a little easier, part of the re-registration process also enables new security features that provide you with the ability to automatically request or reset passwords.
Our new registration process asks additional security questions; answers which must only be known to you. While it is an added step, this will help better protect your information.
Why do I need a Policy Number and a Web ID to create an account?
Your policy Number and Web ID are used as part of our authentication process.
